‘Chemical Balance’ is the new single from TMR favourite, Childe. His pop prowess sits at the forefront of his music, with the interaction between his emotive voice and the bassy, gritty accompaniment keeping us glued to the track throughout. Lyrically, Childe is unique; he touches on subjects many singer-songwriters rarely approach. He explains his perspective as: “Medicating can be an effective part of managing depression and anxiety, but it's being used as a blunt tool. Each brain is different. My sister was diagnosed as having bipolar disorder and I think that instead of numbing out her reaction to life, we have to look at why so many people are feeling like this.
